Our Welding Department
Our Welding Department consists of highly-skilled personnel who have accumulated a very high level of expertise in hand-welding aluminium, stainless and black steel.
Handling large items
Our Welding Department can handle large items, thanks to an 8 m ceiling and a width of 20 metres, along with a traverse crane with 1000 kg capacity, able to work along the full 1000 m2 floor area of the department.
Experienced personnel and welding robots
TORA uses the latest welding technology, which, when combined with our experienced personnel, means exceptionally high, consistent quality. Apart from traditional manual welding, we use welding robots for such work as large series, or items requiring many metres of welds.

TORA – solutions for the metal industry
Tora was founded in 1995 by Jan Elsner and Jesper W. Jensen. Between 1999 and 2017 we consistently expanded production to the point where we now have 8,000 m2 of production and warehousing floor space. We have 85 employees, 15 of whom are office personnel. We buy over 7,000 tones of metal and use 1.5 million kWh of green energy every year. We are ISO9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 18001 certified, and approved by the food authorities. Apart from our certified quality, our USPs include the following: on-time delivery, flexibility and close partnerships with our customers. Our solutions for the metal industry include working with CNC machining, assembly, sheet metal working, copper rails, welding and surface treatment.
